Amber and Colin came to me when they were expecting their first child Colin Jr.. They wanted to commemorate this time in their life with portraits as they found conception isn't always quick and they weren't sure if they were going to be able to have more children in the future.
On the day of their session, Amber received a full morning of pampering with hair and makeup professionally styled by the lovely Samantha Kalkopf Artistry. She decided on a more natural look with long loose curls in her hair and looked amazing. Amber was truly stunning and loved the pampering before her session.
Their session was held in their home, with some photos outdoor in a nearby nature preserve that was covered in snow. It was a balmy 30 degrees outside, so we made quick work of the outdoor portraits so we all wouldn't freeze.
Amber and Colin decided to purchase an album to start telling the story of Colin Jr..
